    Politeness Counts 

    While it doesn’t immediately sound like something that a lot of people first investigating the digital world of online dating and such should think about, being polite and conscientious is one of the best, if not most important, traits that anyone can develop – can be a real help in having a good and best of all productive time online.

    It’s understandable that a lot of people, however, feel a certain kind of power at being anonymous online: they feel that since what they are writing cannot immediately be traced back to them they can say whatever they want without repercussions. But what these people totally forget about is that no one really is anonymous online: yes, the identities we create to do online dating and interacting may not immediately be traced back to who we are in the real world but that doesn’t mean that someone’s online reputation isn’t important.

    Are You Too Desperate To Date?

    You’ve tried everything to meet singles. You’ve asked your friends to hook you up, you’ve spread the word that you’re looking, you wear suggestive clothing when you go out, and you let it be known that you’re even OK with casual sex. So why aren’t you getting any dates?!

    Well my friend, it might just be because you’re too desperate to date.

    There’s a very thin line between putting yourself out there and putting yourself in an embarrassing situation. When you’re looking to date someone, of course you should make it known that you’re seeking, but not by words; by actions.

    People get scared away easily by strong suggestions. Telling someone something like, “I haven’t had a boyfriend in 3 years and I’m really ready to get serious with someone again,” is enough to send any sane person running, but innocently flirting and getting to know someone is a great way to show that you’re open to the idea of dating.

    Look closely at the dating lives of your friends. There’s a good chance that the people who are always single are the ones who are desperate to find a match, and the ones who always attract relationships are the ones who are care-free about their dating lives.

    The more pressure you put on finding a date, the harder it’s going to be for you to get one. Next time you go out, don’t do it with the intention of bringing someone home. Go out and enjoy the time you spend with the people you’re around, and you’re going to be much more attractive to others!

    Who’s The Most Likely To Go Down On You? 

    Don’t roll your eyes at us, we’re human! We have needs. And we want those needs met in the easiest way possible. Which is why we’ve done a little research and found out which people are the most likely to be down with giving oral sex! If you’re trying to meet singles, try meeting these ones:

    #5- People who have just started a new job

    When someone starts a new job, they’re optimistic about what the future holds and are excited about learning, and trying, new things. If they don’t usually give BJs on the average date, chances are they’re going to be a lot more open to it this time around!

    Class Is In Session 

    Where’s the best place for 20-somethings to meet singles in the real world? The easy answer would be to say through an online dating site, and while that would be true if you were looking at where singles meet digitally, it’s not the same as where they have the best chance of meeting organically.

    Believe it or not, the best chance at finding someone between 18 and 28 is on a university campus!

    With a growing number of people enrolling in universities in 2010 and 2011, it’s no wonder that the highest concentrated number of 20-somethings in one place is at a school. But now that you know where to find them, how can you further that to finding someone to have a relationship with?

    Head over to the campus coffee shop
    When people have a few minutes in between class, chances are they’re not going to stand around and wait for their next class, they’re going to find something to do! Coffee shops are always filled with people who are looking to waste time, and what better way to do that then getting to know someone! Find someone sitting by themselves who has a free seat around them, and ask if you could take a seat. It’s an easy way to break the ice and opens the door to conversation.

    Check out the library
    Everyone needs to study in University, and the library is the place to go. If anyone catches your eye, mention the subject they’re reading up on and offer your expertise. If you don’t know anything about their field, ask them about it! Talking through their subject will help them study, so really by hitting on them, you’ll be doing them a favor!

    Go to the campus store
    Every university has a store that sells essential reading materials for  class, and the lines are often longer than the wait to get into the college pub. If someone is buying a book they need for class, there’s no doubt they’d appreciate a little distraction with conversation as they wait in line.

    Support your team at a sporting event!
    Sporting events are great places to  meet people because you already have something to talk about: The team! It unites the two of you with a common interest and makes it easy to talk in such a relaxed and fun environment. And, best of all, the endorphins you get while cheering for a team are the same ones you have while having sex!

    It’s easy to meet people on campus, all you have to do is start talking!

    Picture Your First Date 

    Picture your first date. And I don’t mean imagine what your first date will be like with someone, I mean literally picture the date. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, but with all the memories you will have attached to these ones, they’ll be worth a lot more than that!

    A great way to add an element of fun to your first date is by capturing the whole thing! In an age where almost everything is documented digitally and shared on Facebook, it’s a fun idea to do that off the bat! Why wait until your 8th or 9th date to start taking pictures? Doing it right off the bat is a fun and memorable way to kick off your relationship. So how do you make photography into a memorable date?

    Break out the dictionary

    Start off your date at a low key place like a coffee house and bring along a dictionary. You each have to pick five pages and five words, and then spend the rest of your date on a scavenger-like adventure. And best of all, if any of your words relate to sex, you get a jump start on the naughty conversation!

    Buy an instant camera

    On dates, people usually want to be reminded of a simpler time. Girls want guys to open the doors for them, guys want to pick up the bill, and both parties want the date to be traditional. Instant cameras like Polaroids have a tendency of reminding you of that same time. They’re fun and easy to use, so whether it’s a candid picture or one of scenery, they’ll freeze the memory in a unique and traditional way

    Set a development date

    Buy a disposable camera and at the start of the date, write a month and day that’s still a few weeks away on the camera. Instead of developing the camera when you’re done the date, the two of you have to go out together on the chosen date to develop it together. Not only is it an excuse to continue hanging out until then, but when you give enough time between the first date and the development of the pictures, you’re likely to forget the small details, and seeing the pictures will remind you of those times and the feelings you had during your first date.

    Singles dating tend to always fall back on the same first date ideas. Breaking out of the ordinary date box can make the difference between a mundane date and an exciting one, so make it worth your time and say cheese!

    Dates That You’ll Actually Have Fun On 

    Everyone suggests the same first date. Go to the movies, go out to dinner, go to the coffee house…When you’re getting all the same suggestions, you’re likely to end up with the same results. And if you’re getting the same results, chances are you still haven’t found someone worth your time yet. The key to a good first date is to actually have the set up for a good first date. If you’re doing the same old thing, you’re likely to have the same old conversation and the same old boring time together.

    Change it up! If you want to have a good date, you need have a good setting!

    Go Tree Planting

    Organizations are always looking for people to volunteer to plant trees. Most places allow you to donate your time as you see fit. Want to plant 10 trees? Great! Only what to plant 1? That’s fine, as long as you’re helping. Planting a tree will stimulate more interesting conversation than a night at the movies would, and you’ll have something tangible to show when the date is done. It’s also quite symbolic– You’re planting a small tree and hoping that it will be nurtured enough to grow to it’s full potential, much like your new relationship.

    Take a trip to the zoo

    Besides the fact that everyone loves seeing baby animals, the zoo is a great place for easy conversations. You get to see where each animal is from, which allows you to discuss travel stories from that area, or travel plans for the future. Not only that, but you’re in an environment where primal sex is accepted as a natural act, which will make you both more relaxed for thinking about getting down and dirty later!

    Go to a bookstore

    This one sounds like it could be as dull as going to a coffee shop, but trust me, there is more fun to be had in a bookstore than you’d think. Before you enter the store, go in with a plan. Pick a book rack, shelf, and book number before you go in. IE– The third book rack on your right, the second shelf, and fifth book on that shelf. Whatever that book is, the two of you have to tell a story related to the subject. Is it a book on vampires? Tell the story about how your ex-girlfriend was obsessed with Robert Pattinson. Is it about golf? Share that time when you got kicked off of a golf course for sneaking onto the greens after hours.

    Singles dating can have a great time on a first date, you just have to know where to go!

    Gunmetal Will Get You Laid 

    If you missed the VMAs on Sunday, you missed Bruno Mars doing a wicked cover of an Amy Winehouse song, Lady Gaga acting bizarre (par usual), Beyonce announcing her pregnancy, and the fashion trend that you’re going to want to try this weekend.

    It seemed that every female at the awards that didn’t look like they were dressing for Halloween was dressed in the same thing: Gunmetal. And what did the critics have to say about all the girls dressing similar? Nothing! They loved it! Gunmetal is the color to wear for fall, and lucky for you, it’s not just because of the fashion: Gun metal is going to get you laid.

    Gunmetal, which if you’re not a fan of fashion.. Or the color wheel… is a dark grey with a shine to it. Just like the color of metal that guns are made of (see where the name comes from?). It’s an extremely slimming color, and believe it or not, it beats out black for the what-makes-you-look-your-lightest color. She shine helps turn your chunk into sexy curves, which when you see how good you look in it will make it all the easier for you to be confident when you meet singles.

    Not only will it make you look your best, but when men see the color, they associate it with danger, which will make you all the sexier in their eyes. Girls attention gets triggered by guys who look like they would be sweet and sensitive lovers, but guys want to have sex with someone who they think would tear apart the room in the process. The color alone is enough to get them excited, but having it draped on your body will drive them wild.

    You’re Smoking Hot! Oh, Wait… You’re Actually Smoking? 

    Men and women spend countless hours getting ready before they go out in an attempt to attract the opposite sex. They spend money dying their hair, spend their time trying on clothes, and spend nights watching Entertainment Tonight just to see what the hottest in Hollywood are wearing. When it comes to looking attractive, there’s no end to what people are willing to do. But without even knowing it, those same people who spend their time trying to look good can do only one thing to turn off the people they’re trying to attract– They smoke.

    In a survey by Cosmopolitan magazine, 70% of women said that they preferred to date a guy that didn’t smoke, and over 35% of them said that they wouldn’t even consider dating a man who smokes. As high as those statistics seem, an even wilder 13% of women who smoke themselves said they wouldn’t want to date a guy who smoked!

    For women, a lot of their natural attraction to men stems from their ability to care for them. Even if they’re just looking for a quick hookup, they still instinctively want to be with a man who’s a healthy and can protect her if need be. Women are programmed to seek out guys who would make good baby daddies, so sticking a cigarette in your mouth is the first step to cock blocking yourself.

    But it’s not just women that don’t want to date smokers, it’s men as well. When men are looking to meet singles, they have natural instincts on who to look for, just as women do. But instead of seeking the protector, they subconsciously look for someone their mother would approve of. Since most kids are brought up with their parents telling them that smoking is bad, guys are instantly less attracted to women who smoke, knowing that they won’t pass their most important test– Bring them home to meet mom.

    If you’re trying to attract people, you should start by making sure you’re not turning them off. Put out the cigarette to save your health and your dating life!
